One appliance instead of individual components

TERRA XALER from Wortmann combines server, storage, and network in a hyperconverged, pre-configured platform: Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization, DataCore storage software, and redundant network connectivity are already matched to each other and ready to run. The minimum configuration is two nodes, expandable in increments of two as your needs grow.

Active-active instead of cold standby

Both nodes run in active-active mode at the storage, network, and compute layers, with synchronous data mirroring between them. If a node fails, virtual machines automatically fail over to the remaining node – with no manual intervention and no data loss. Redundant network paths and self-healing mechanisms additionally ensure that faults are detected and resolved automatically.

Performance per node

Depending on configuration, each node offers up to 32 CPU cores, up to 4 TB of RAM, and up to 128 TB of all-flash storage on enterprise SATA SSDs or NVMe – with no traditional hard disks. Network connectivity is rated at up to 50 Gb/s per node and 100 Gb/s in the active-active pair.
