IT support and working together
Where does WSV support companies on site?
WSV is based in Bad Camberg and supports companies in Limburg-Weilburg, the Taunus and the Rhine-Main region on site and remotely. Discuss the location and scope of an on-site visit with us before planning it. Contact WSV.
Can we outsource just part of our IT operations?
Yes. We can take on agreed areas such as monitoring, support or specific IT projects. The exact responsibilities and handover are defined together. Learn about IT outsourcing.
When does WSV respond to a monitoring alert?
Monitoring and support hours are different: monitoring can run around the clock, while handling and response times follow your agreement. On-call support outside business hours requires a separate agreement. Learn about Managed Services.
IT security and backup
What is the difference between a quick security check and a professional assessment?
The quick security check offers an initial, non-binding self-assessment. The IT security assessment includes an expert interview of around 90 minutes, followed by a written report with recommendations.
Does a backup alone guarantee recovery?
No. In addition to backups, a successful recovery depends on a suitable recovery plan and regular restore tests. Learn about online backup and restore testing.
Can the NIS2 self-check determine our legal obligations?
The NIS2 self-check provides initial indications of possible applicability and selected security topics. A binding assessment requires a separate review of your sector, company size and special cases.
Cloud and communication
Does every system have to move to the cloud?
No. WSV also plans hybrid environments when systems need to remain on site. The right approach depends on your applications, requirements and existing infrastructure. Learn about cloud solutions.
What is needed for a cloud phone system?
The requirements depend on the number of users, the network and existing numbers and devices. We clarify these points before planning the switch. Learn about cloud telephony.
