What external IT support covers
Six building blocks we combine to suit your business.
Monitoring and remote support
We continuously monitor servers, workstations and networks and fix many faults remotely, often before your employees notice them.
Helpdesk and support
Your employees reach us by phone, email or ticket. We generally respond to faults within eight hours within the agreed hours.
Updates and patch management
Operating systems and software are updated on a schedule. Security gaps do not stay open for weeks.
Backup and data protection
Your data is backed up automatically, optionally encrypted to a German data centre. We monitor the backups.
Firewall and email security
We run your firewall plus spam and virus protection, including maintaining the rules.
Telephony and cloud
Cloud phone systems, Microsoft 365 and server solutions from one source.
What does external IT support cost?
The price depends on the number of workstations and servers, the scope of services and the agreed support hours. We bundle ongoing work with the IT flat rate at an individually agreed monthly price so your IT costs stay predictable.
After the initial conversation and the IT analysis you receive a fixed quote. It sets out services, reporting channels, support hours and the terms for projects and on-site work.
How we get started
Initial conversation
30 minutes, free of charge. We clarify what you have and what you need.
IT analysis
We record devices, servers, network, backup and security and show you where the weak spots are.
Onboarding
We connect your systems to our monitoring, define responsibilities and organise the switch from your current provider.
Ongoing operations
You have a fixed contact and receive regular reports on status and measures taken.
In-house IT, freelancer or IT service provider?
If you want to outsource your IT, you essentially have three options. The comparison shows the typical differences:
| Criterion | In-house | Freelancer | WSV |
|---|---|---|---|
| Holidays or sickness | No cover | No cover | The team steps in |
| Expertise | Broad but rarely deep | Usually one focus | Specialists for network, servers and security |
| Costs | Salary, overheads, training | Hourly rate, hard to plan | Predictable monthly |
| New technology | Organise yourself | Organise yourself | Available in the team |
| Documentation | Often only in someone's head | Often only in someone's head | Documented centrally |

Common questions about external IT support
What does external IT support cost?
That depends on the number of workstations, the scope of services and the agreed support hours. After the IT analysis you receive a fixed quote with a predictable monthly price.
From what company size is it worthwhile?
We support businesses from a single workstation up to mid-sized companies with their own IT department. Compared with your own employee, you no longer need to cover holidays, sickness or training. Larger companies often hand over only parts, such as the helpdesk.
What happens if something fails?
You report the fault by phone, email or ticket. For customers with a support contract, we generally respond within eight hours within the agreed working or on-call hours. Your contract takes precedence; the response time is not a promise that the fault will be fully resolved within that period. We fix many problems remotely.
When can we reach you?
Our business hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 12:00 and 12:30 to 16:30. For emergencies there is an on-call service, Monday to Friday 7:00 to 22:00 and on weekends and public holidays 9:00 to 20:00. Your contract defines which hours apply to you.
How does switching from our current provider work?
We take over documentation, access and licences in agreement with you. Changes are scheduled in suitable maintenance windows so your business keeps running. Details are on our page on switching IT providers.
How do you handle data protection?
Where we process personal data, we do so exclusively on your behalf and according to your instructions. For this we conclude a data processing agreement with you in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
Do we still need our own IT staff?
No, but a combination works too. Your employees remain the on-site contact while we provide tools, specialist knowledge and cover.
Do you also support businesses outside Bad Camberg?
Yes, especially in Limburg, Idstein and the Rheingau-Taunus district. Most support is provided remotely; on-site visits are arranged as needed.
