PBX System Mitel MiVoice Office 400
Classic on-premises PBX system from Mitel – telephony, voicemail, and unified communications, scalable up to 600 extensions.

Who is it for?
Companies that want a classic, on-premises PBX system instead of a cloud solution – for example due to existing wiring and endpoints, data protection requirements, or an internet connection that isn't consistently reliable.
Not every company wants to move its telephony to the cloud: existing wiring and endpoints should keep working, the internet connection isn't reliable enough everywhere, or there are good reasons to run the phone system in-house rather than renting it.
- Do you want to keep using your existing analog or digital endpoints instead of replacing them entirely?
- Is a consistently stable internet connection for cloud telephony even available at your location?
- Would you rather purchase a phone system once and operate it yourself instead of renting it long-term?
The right tier for your company size
The Mitel MiVoice Office 400 comes in three tiers: the SMBC controller suits small to medium-sized companies and can be flexibly expanded to up to 200 users. The Mitel 470 controller scales to up to 600 users – as a standalone system or as a network spread across up to 50 locations. If you already rely entirely on IP endpoints, trunks, and applications, you can alternatively run the system as a virtual appliance in an existing VMware or Hyper-V environment, without any additional hardware. We work out together with you which variant fits your environment.
More than classic telephony
The MiVoice Office 400 is a full unified communications platform: besides classic telephony, it offers voicemail, automatic attendant, and advanced call forwarding, plus chat, presence status, softphones for PC and mobile devices, and video collaboration. Employees can make calls using corded or cordless phones, via DECT, or at changing workstations via hot desking, depending on their needs.
Connection to the public network and existing endpoints
The system accepts SIP as well as analog and digital endpoints, and connects to the public telephone network via either SIP or classic TDM trunks – so existing wiring and endpoints don't necessarily need to be replaced.
Expandable as your needs grow
Open interfaces (APIs, CSTA, TAPI) let you connect the system to CRM systems and your own workflows. For higher call volumes, MiContact Center Business provides a matching contact center extension.
